Hi Everybody, I am so excited to announce that I have been nominated for a Mystery Blogger Award! When I first started this blog, I never thought I would get such a positive reaction from others. I must thank all of my readers, because without you, my blog wouldn’t be what it is today, so thank you!

I am so grateful for this nomination and greatly appreciate the recognition.  A big thank you to Sophie Marshall for nominating me for this award.  Please be sure to check out her amazing blog for some great crafting ideas.  This award was created by Okoto Enigma’s Blog, which is a wonderful blog about lifestyle, beauty, fashion, and travel.  Make sure you check out their blog as well!  Below is Okoto’s description of the Mystery Blogger Award.

What is the Mystery Blogger Award?
The “Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts.  Their blog not only captivates, it inspires and motivates.  They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get.  This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.

The Rules of the Mystery Blogger Award:

  1. Put the award logo/image on your blog post
  2. List the rules.
  3. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link to their blog as well.

Here are three things about myself:

  1. I have been an artist all my life. Creativity is my passion.
  2. I have written several novels, which I hope to one day publish.
  3. My favorite color is blue.

My responses to Sophie’s questions are:

  1. Do you have any favorite places you’ve traveled to? – I absolutely love the Hawaiian Islands. It really is paradise on earth.
  2. What is your favorite type of music? – I love music from the 80’s. My favorite bands are the Eagles and Def Leppard.
  3. Have you ever gone camping? – I went camping once when I was a Girl Scout. While I love being out in nature, I prefer sleeping in a real bed.
  4. Apple or Samsung? – Definitely Apple.
  5. Here is my silly question: If you could be any mythical creature, what would it be and why? – I would be a mermaid. So much of the earth is covered in water. I would love to be able to explore the depths and discover the mysteries hidden beneath the surface.
